ISS is an international non-governmental organization (INGO) duly registered with the Philippines’ Securities and Exchange Commission and duly accredited by the Department of Social Welfare and Development as social services-providing agency responding to urgent needs of individuals and families in distress.

ISS services is extended regardless of race, social, political and/or religious affiliations. We are in solidarity with the 150 branches of the International Social Service global community.

The Beneficiaries of Our Services

• Women, children and families marginalized as a result of exploitation and the imperfect society.
• Labor migrants, Overseas Filipino Workers who have been victimized by illegal recruiters, abusive employers and/or placement agencies.
• Victims of human trafficking;
• Children who are deprived of proper parental care due to abject poverty;
• Expatriates in critical, difficult situations
• Persons in need of assistance in locating missing relatives due to displacements;
• Filipino parents seeking custody over their children with foreigner spouses;
• Indigent patients who are in need of assistance for urgent medical, financial, legal intervention;
• Persons with traumatic experiences and requiring psycho-social interventions e.g. CISD, counseling;
• Primary dependents of labor migrants, i.e. spouse, children, parents;
• Children who ran away from their homes due to repeated and habitual abuses by either or both parents;
• Our organic staff and volunteers in need of skills’ and competencies’ enhancements.
