Asia and Pacific Regional Meeting
May 1, 2007ISS-Phils., Inc. was a host of the 6th Asia-Pacific Regional Meeting last May 2007. This was a well attended event and a gathering of notable social practitioners drawn together by a common desire to evolve a road-map for relevant services/interventions with the end in view of ameliorating the unfortunate plight of disadvantaged individuals and families.

Our Corporate Mission
“To identify, develop and implement welfare services that are relevant, responsive and required by ISSP target clientele namely: migrants and their families, marginalized women and children, intercountry cases and expatriates in difficult situation.”
Our Mandate
- To develop and implement welfare services for the benefit of marginalized children and women, migrant workers and their families and expatriates in difficult situation and victims of human trafficking.
- To create national public awareness and strengthen advocacy programmes for the abovementioned beneficiaries;
- To initiate partnerships with local and international organizations and institutions in order to develop welfare programmes/services and implement the same effectively and efficiently;
- To initiate study and research on the present day welfare needs of vulnerable groups and develop programmes/services to uphold their human dignity;
- To develop and submit project proposals and financial reports / statements in accordance with generally accepted accounting practices and requirements for public scrutiny;
- To conduct trainings for personal as well as professional development of ISS members and volunteers and other groups;
- To provide efficient and timely response to all referrals.
